Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) for flow velocity measurements in liquids and gases using conventional 2D
PIV, stereo PIV, micro PIV and High speed (Time Resolved) PIV. In addition we supply stand-alone dual pulse lasers,
cameras and software for particle image velocimetry. |
|
Particle, Droplet and Bubble Sizing for measurement of the
size and shape of particles suspended in liquids or gases and airborne droplets (e.g. aerosols, nasal sprays,
fuel injectors). Bubble size and shape measurements can also be performed to characterize bubble
flows (e.g. in bubble columns and heat transfer studies).
|
|
Spray Patternation Measurement for characterization of most types of
spray including: nasal sprays, fuel injectos, domestic aerosols, agricultural sprays and paint sprays. Patternation systems
capture images of the spray and calculate its pattern, cone angle and time evolution. Optional software allows
droplet size and velocity to be measured.

|
High Speed Video Cameras and Imaging for flow visualization in gases and fluids, motion analysis,
ballistsics, impact studies and many other applications. High speed imaging systems normally include a high speed vidoe camera,
laser illumination, light delivery optics and a computer. Additional software can allow the imaging system to be upgraded for spray
analysis, particle sizing and particle image velocimetry.
|
|
Flame Penetration Imaging for analysis of high brightness subjects (explosions, welding, plasma
spraying etc.) without the image being washed out by the background light.
